In future the laboratories of the Bayerische Wasserwirtschaftsämter (Bavarian watershed management departments) of Ansbach, Amberg, Kempten, Traunstein and Weilheim trust in the compact Water Quality Dipper KLL-Q  for mobile measurements of water quality in Bavarian lakes. Among others ph-value, oxygen, conductivity, turbidity and hydrostatic pressure up to a depth of 150 m will be measured. By means of the handy cable drum quickly a depths profile can be acquired. A metrically printed flat cable enables a quick and exact determination of the measuring point. The integrated pressure sensor additionally shows the hydrostatic pressure, so that drifts of the multiparameter probe due to flow can be identified. The gain of time for effecting a depth measurement with the handy KLL-Q, compared with conventional measuring systems, is enormous!
