Our company history

SEBA Hydrometrie GmbH was founded int 1967 in Oberbeuren, Germany by Mr Fröhlich and Mr Marxer. Amongst the first products were hydrometrical measuring instruments for water management in particular.

Along with a continuous broadening of our range of products with a focus on "ground water", "surface water", "meteorology" and "sewage" came a rising number of employees. Especially in the areas of research and development as well as in our software department that have been lots of new additions to our staff. In 1996 there was a final relocation to our current premises in Kaufbeuren-Neugablonz, Germany.

In 1990, Dipl. Ing. Wolfgang Zasche became the new managing director after withdrawal of the founders.

Distribution, development, production and service take place from one source. SEBA is also known for solutions concerning special and individual custom requirements.

Today, SEBA Hydrometrie GmbH with its approx. 70 employees ranks among the leading companies for environmental measuring systems in the areas of hydrology, meteorology and sewage. We are internationally active and offer standard equipment as well as customized solutions in cooperation with our 90 agencies abroad in more than 120 countries all over the world.
